I had intended to up my weight a bit this week as I was finding the 5 lbs I was using to be a bit light. I didn't want to go all the way up to 10 lbs so I started a conversation in my head that I would just do my HIIT workout in my hotel room with no weight since I didn't have the weight that I wanted. It was a struggle, but I finally was able to convince myself that I would go down to the weight room and do my workout with the 5lbs.
It was a tough workout with burpees between the exercises - the same as last Wednesday. I felt great after I completed it.
Since I allowed myself to sleep in for 20 minutes extra, I got to work a bit later than I wanted. I am thankful that I have the ability to change my hours around to work when I want.
I had 2 shakes - 1 for breakfast and 1 when I got home from Wonderful Wednesday with my friend Trevor. I had a tin of salmon with buffalo cauliflower for lunch.
Wonderful Wednesday is all about personal growth! We talked about being in blame and practicing working through using non-violent communication with ourselves and others. As always, it was an awesome conversation!
