It was my last day of work, for the most part. I do have to put in a couple of hours today to tie up some loose ends and I will be working for about 30 hours every 6 or so weeks until the project goes live.
Today officially starts my new journey and I'm very excited about it. Being at home working our two businesses and being with Ethan full time is going to be awesome! It's going to be an adjustment for sure, but one that I openly welcome!
Dinner last night was very enjoyable indeed! I made a trip to Wendy's Country Market on the way home and picked a completely local dinner! So good! It consisted of a lovely big tossed salad with homemade dressing and trout. I put dill from my neighbour's herb garden (my dill isn't doing so hot!) and freshly chopped garlic cloves over it. The garlic was so good - fresh this year from Wendy's! Yum! Fish is so good for you! Here's a picture!
I'm not sure if you can see in the picture or not, but the salad greens mixture that I got fromo Wendy's had edible flowers in it. So good - pansies and calendula. They add a bit of spicey flavour to the salad. Eat the rainbow! I put chopped pea pods in it, red and yellow tomatoes, orange peppers (not local but were organic), blueberries, avocadoes (not local of course but also organic), radishes, and the salad greens which had lovely herbs, greens, and flowers in it. So good!
I really appreciated being home and having a home cooked meal!
