The decision that I made was to work on my posts and so you may have noticed yesterday that my posts were quite early in the morning. I decided that I would do my workout later in the day between appts.
We drove to Trenton in the morning to look at several houses that we were considering to buy for rental properties. None of them panned out.
On the way home, Ethan and I stopped at Swiss Chalet to have some lunch. We had ribs (mine were dry) and steamed veggies. I didn't think to get a picture!
We, next, travelled to Gananoque to get an oil change and check up for the car and then we came home. I was still not feeling the greatest so I laid down for a rest. I didn't sleep, but it felt good to listen to my body and relax.
Breakfast and dinner were a shake. After dinner we ventured into Kingston to check out another house. It was also not what we were looking for. The cool thing about being very clear about what you want is that you know right away when something is not what you are looking for. It also means that it can take a while to find what you are looking for. No worries. We aren't in a rush and want to do it right.
Once we got home and Ethan got ready for bed, he ended up hurting himself just as I was about to get on a team call. He ran into the corner of the wall in the entryway to my room. He got quite a goose egg on his head. After I got him to sleep, I finally jumped on my call and did Yoga while I listened. I was happy I was finally feeling well enough to do Yoga and I felt much better for doing it! I didn't end up getting a run in; however, I feel good for having listened to my body. I am, after all, still 9 months away from my intended competition. This doesn't mean that I can be complacent, but it does mean that if I need a lighter day of exercise that I can listen to my body and give it that luxury.
Below you will find my final pictures for this month. As I mentioned last week, I didn't make my goal measurements, but I am quite happy with my progress! As I mentioned, I will be beginning a new exercise routine next week and will be using a new eating regimen once I return from Las Vegas.
These changes are definitely very motivating and are encouraging me to keep going. I'm doing it!
Thanks to my little man, Ethan, for taking the pictures for me this week again.

Again, these results point to the importance of taking pictures, weighing in, and measuring with a tape measure. Muscle weighs more than fat and also takes up less room so even if the scale goes up, your inches will come down!
