We headed to town to have Ethan's last yard sale. Everything that didn't sell, we donated to Good Will and Interval House. We didn't have a lot of people come by and Ethan didn't make much money. I agreed to give him some of the money for the things that we donated as he is saving towards an electric guitar.
I met with a friend and her sister for coffee in the afternoon and we had a lovely chat. I love having beautiful conversations! It's all about designing my day the way that I want now.
I am so grateful that I made the decision to stop consulting (except 30 hrs every 6 weeks which will mostly be done at home with two days of on site visits. These on site visits will still allow me to be home each night) and to be home full-time now working our businesses.
It may not seem like a lot to some people, but I get to wake up each morning and take Ethan to school now, I get to pick him up each day from school, I get to make him dinner each night, and I get to put him to bed each night. This means the world to me! I'm looking forward to school being back in so we can go for our walks in the morning before school, riding scooters, playing in the park or perhaps sleeping in - whatever we like!
Through the day I will get to work our businesses and then spend the evenings with Ethan while Joe works our businesses! Awesome!
After coffee, I came home and did my workout. Sunday was 2 weeks on this new HIIT program and so it was time to test myself again. I have graduated to level 2 which was very encouraging to me. This means Monday morning I will begin doing the level 2 of the 28 day programs. Today's workout looked like:
30 seconds sprints
30 seconds plank
30 seconds jumping jacks
30 seconds rotating side planks
30 seconds squats
30 seconds rest
Dinner was yummy! We got some wild sockeye salmon recently from Farm Buy - my favourite. So we baked that up in the oven with dill and garlic. Delicious! I also had some curried kimchi and a lovely salad which had mixed greens, kalamata olives, artichokes, leeks, grape tomatoes, and homemade salad dressing. I remembered to take a picture, so here it is.
