My workout was as follows.
30 seconds burpees
30 seconds push ups
30 seconds seal jacks
30 seconds plank punches
30 seconds squat jumps
1 minute rest
The plank punches are especially challenging as you have to really use your core to stay steady on three points of contact as you lift the one arm to punch outwards! It is important not to allow your hips to sway when doing this as that takes the focus off your core!
I did personal growth reading after I dropped Ethan off at school. I had a bit more to read so that I was ready for book club call at 9:30 today, Wednesday. It was another amazing conversation about Tribal Leadership, the book we are reading! If you have never read a book with a group of people, give it a try! It is so interesting to hear other people's takeaways from the book and it amplifies your learning so much!
As I mentioned in the past, I read several books at a time. There are several reasons for this. One is that I enjoy reading. Two is that I love learning new things as well as growing and expanding as a person - always working to make my best today better than it was the day before. Three is that I like to only read the chapters for book club that we are reading. That way I can stay current in the conversation. Right now I am reading Tribal Leadership, Leading with Noble Purpose, and Unfair Advantage.
Today I am doing a much needed cleanse day!
Ethan and I headed to Ottawa to attend Wonderful Wednesday with my friend Trevor. Here we work on our personal growth! We worked on our self-limiting beliefs and our guiding light statement. I realized that I have had a guiding light statement for a while which was cool for me - You are Enough.
When we got home, it was straight to bed.
