Breakfast was a superfood shake.
It was fun to take the commuter train to the convention centre and I got to experience what my friend does each day to go to work! What beautiful scenery to see each day - the Fraser river and the mountains. Much less stressful than driving in traffic for sure!
Today we learned about the use of our voice. We delved into the importance of repetition and learned a new cool word! Epistemology - knowing something because you have experienced it. We also dug into the importance of language and how lazy with our language we have become. We discovered that we use words incorrectly as well as overuse them!
Lunch today was a delicious no-bun burger. I tired having some fries to see how my system handled them. My coach is looking for complex carbohydrates that I can eat for the program she is developing me. Shortly after eating them, my stomach hurt and bloated up so fries are a no go for sure!
A favourite quote today was, "How I do anything is how I do everything. How I treat anyone is how I treat everyone including myself."
Our late night dinner was steak, mushrooms, carrots, green beans, and potatoes. I tried them to see if it was just the fact that the potato was fried; however, my stomach hurt again and bloated out. Potatoes are out for me. I figured as much as I have avoided them for a long time for a reason! It is always good to try things again though as our body changes over time especially since I have been working to heal my digestive tract.
