Breakfast was tuna, quinoa, and steamed kale while I watched Ethan's hockey practice. Here are a couple of shots from practice.
After hockey we headed to the skate park for a bit. It is getting cold out now so we won't be able to do that much longer!
Then we headed to school and to call on Ethan's friend to scooter to school with us. They had a good time together.
I headed to my Mom's to work for the day. Here I had a shake and my third meal of steak, beets, and pea pods.
I got Ethan from school and we headed home to have dinner before heading to guitar practice. My dinner was sardines with tomatoes on them, quinoa and steamed kale.
I am enjoying the training so far and am getting used to the food consuming a lot of my day. My brother-in-law, Jeff, suggested that I do meal prep on Sundays each week, however, I prefer to have the food fresh and unless I freeze it, there is a potential of bacteria growing on the food over the week. One shouldn't eat food older than 4 days old at most and really only after a day or two in the fridge.
My new mantra is, "This is fun and I can do it!"
