I had my first superfood protein shake shortly after I got there. I forgot a shaker so thankfully they had some blenders out at the conference! Phew! Otherwise I would have been eating it out of my bowl with a spoon quite thick! I prefer my shakes with quite a bit more water than suggested.
The training in the morning was wonderful! I learned so much and am excited to apply it to my business and my life!
For lunch I had tuna, peas, and beets. It is fortunate that I can eat my food at room temperature. I got used to this a long time ago when I worked in an office because I do not like microwaves. In fact, we do not even have one in our home. We have a toaster oven that we use to warm things up if they are small in quantity. Otherwise, we use the oven and stove top. Through my nutritional studies I learned that microwaves change the molecular structure of the food. No thanks.
My drive home was just as enjoyable with all the gorgeous colours in the trees. The traffic was a little more heavy at that time of day, but moved along nicely.
When I got home, Joe had prepared a lovely meal for dinner. I had pork chops which he had baked with Dijon mustard. Yum! I had some brown rice pasta which I mixed with a bit of butter and some steamed spinach. The brown rice pasta did not agree with me. I'll stay away from that. White rice it is. White rice doesn't contain as many nutrients as brown rice; however, if your body can't process it then it doesn't do you any good to have the extra nutrients. I'll stick with the complex carbs that my body can process.
