Saturday morning started off with my usual meditation. I had thought about changing it up for variety, but I am just loving this ritual and so I am staying with my current meditation practice for the foreseeable future. I do love adding in other meditations during the day from time to time such as mindful eating or other mindful practices. Sometimes when I am running for cardio, I meditate. I find running to be very meditative. Sometimes while running I also think. It is important to spend regular time thinking as well. Meditation clears the mind for ideas to flow and thinking allows the ideas to form and evolve.
After my meditation I got up and did my workout. Saturdays are cardio. After my workout I had my superfood protein shake.
Winter Fair was happening at Ethan's school today so I packed up my food for the day so that I was prepared to work for the day. For my second meal on the way in I had salmon and steamed kale. I worked at the entrance greeting people as they came and went. In my opinion it is the best job! I think for May Fair I will volunteer to just do that. I enjoy talking to people and thanking them for coming. After an hour of greeting I went and worked the baked goods table for an hour. I was very pleased that I was not tempted in the least to eat anything there.
After Winter Fair I had my third meal of the day which was my other superfood protein shake. We went and ran some errands and then came home to get dinner ready. On the way home I had my fourth meal of the day which was also salmon and steamed kale.
For dinner I had mussels, sautéed mushrooms and onions, and steamed spinach. It was delicious!
After dinner we watched a movie and headed to bed.
