After my run, I had my superfood protein shake with Recover in it to allow my muscles to recover well and quickly. This is so important for my body as I am working out each day. Over the course of this competition, it is going to allow my body to be in the best shape possible and do it healthfully unlike what I hear about how other competitors get to the stage. I am grateful for the products that I use - they're the best!
Before heading in for 2 hours of posing practice this morning, I had pork, cauliflower, and rice. It was very intense to do it for such a long period of time, but I feel like I am beginning to really get what is required from me on stage. Coach Zara began to choreograph my t-walk and I am excited because it is fun! I talked to her about the mindset that I will be entering stage with - this isn't about me - this is about the audience and the judges and really being my best for them! She was excited to hear that. After I practice this week, I will post some new pictures so you can really see the improvements that I am making!
After posing practice, I enjoyed another superfood protein shake. I was super hungry after all the hard work from posing practice! Imagine holding your muscles taught for most of 2 hours! This will help you get the idea!
Joe and I then headed to our leadership training conference. It was a wonderful event and I feel like I have learned so much and took so much value away from the experience.
Part way through the day I had goat, rice, and cauliflower.

After dinner, we headed to play pool with the team for a bit before heading on the road home. We got home quite late or shall I say early! We headed to bed as we had another crazy day on Sunday coming up!
