After my workout I had my superfood protein shake with Recover in it.
Then I got ready to take my car in to get the winter tires put on.
I then headed back home and packed for our weekend away while Joe took Ethan to school. It is nice when he is able to be home an extra day as it means that I get a break in many areas. He cooks, helps clean, helps with laundry, and takes Ethan to school. I'm super grateful for the extra day and keep in the forefront of my mind what I am working towards - having him home with us full-time by next summer!
For my second meal I had sardines and green beans.
Joe and I headed to the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Lyndhurst Legion. It was a nice ceremony. Joe was a spectator this year although he has been in the parade as a flag carrier in past. I have a lot of respect for the soldiers who stood around the cenotaph! They had to hold that position for about 45 minutes without moving! It makes the posing that I am working on for my competition seem almost easy! I only have to hold easy pose for about 10 minutes!
It was then time to head to Ethan's school. We had parent-teacher interview and were pleased to hear that Ethan is doing so well. He excels at Math which he comes by honestly! Joe is wicked smart with math and I do pretty well at it myself (provided it is on paper - I don't do very well with math in my head).
We headed to get Ethan some dinner and on the way I drink my second shake of the day.
After dinner, we wondered around the mall to kill time until Ethan's concert.
On the way to the concert, I ate my last meal of the day. It was beef, cauliflower, and rice.
After the concert, Joe and I headed to Ottawa and then to bed as we arrived quite late - or early in the morning more accurately!
