It was a cleanse day for me so I got all my supplies packed and then got Ethan up. I also took my measurements for the week. You will find them below.
At hockey, I ran the stairs for my cardio. I chose a cardio day on purpose to do my cleanse day as it is recommended to not do too strenuous of an activity of a cleanse day. My body is working hard to rid itself of toxins and so it is best to let it do that hard work and not be distracted with repairing muscle from a challenging weight workout too.
I put in a long 12.5 hr day as I need to complete 45 hours in 4 days to finish off my hours. I don't want to go back for another week just to finish up a few hours. That doesn't make sense.
After my long day, it was straight to bed for me! It started late so it also ended late.
I feel really great about my continued progress and am motivated to keep going. If I do not see inch loss this week, then it may be time to increase the heaviness of my weights. I will reassess when I take measurements on Sunday.
Coach Michelle is having me doing one cleanse day, 5 medium days which means that I get complex carbohydrates for two of my three meals each day and then 1 low day which means that I get meat and green veggies for each of my three meals each day. I still eat my two superfood protein shakes each day. It will be interesting to see how my body reacts to this modified program.
