As is customary lately, Tuesdays are cleanse day. Over the day, I enjoy a cleanse drink that is designed to assist my body's natural detoxing functions. I always feel light and lean when I am done a cleanse day and have so much clarity!
On the way to school he also tells me his tooth is hurting so after I drop him at school, I called and made him a dentist appointment. I was able to get him in the same day. It turns out that with his canine teeth trying to come in, the front teeth are being forced due to no space.
After I dropped him off at school, I then called the orthodontist to make him an appointment for there. I was able to get him first Wednesday morning.
I felt grateful for being squeezed into both appointments on such short notice!
I then had a coaching call with Dale and Trevor. We talked about leading from the inside. This has been coming up a lot for me lately so I know that it is something that I need to work on. I know that when I listen to my gut things work out for the best and I always get what I need when I need it. It is during the times that I do not listen to my inner voice that I run into trouble. Since this has been coming up so much lately, it is a good reminder for me to ensure that I am listening to what I really need.
I had a great conversation in the afternoon with my friend, Joe. I assisted him with a PSYCH-K balance.
I then had a wonderful conversation with Dale again.
It was then time to pick Ethan up from school. We headed home and I got him his dinner ready and then headed down to do my workout. Tuesdays are cardio and core day. As I did my run and Ethan chattered away to me asking questions about various books on my book shelves in the workout room (nutrition books), I was reminded of how much more I appreciated doing my run in silence in the morning before he was up. When I am working out I prefer to focus inside and on my muscles. It was a good reminder for other days to ensure I get up and do my workout in the mornings!
Coach Michelle has added 5 minutes to my cardio sessions so I am now doing 25 minutes and she has also added another day. This week it will be on Thursday evening. This means I am doing 5 days of cardio now for 25 minutes each time. This also means that some days I am doubling up my workouts as I am unable to fit both at the same time. So far Sundays are cardio and lower body, Mondays are upper body, Tuesdays are cardio and core, Wednesdays are upper body, Thursdays are lower body and cardio, Fridays are cardio and core, and Saturdays are cardio.
For my nutrition this week she has me doing 3 medium days, 3 low days, and 1 cleanse day. We're getting intense so that I can have a little room for a treat here and there over the Christmas holidays :)
I sent Coach Michelle updated photos today and she was very pleased with my progress. They are in a bikini so sorry to say that I am not comfortable to post them here yet!
After my workout and Ethan finished dinner, we played Battleship and headed to bed.
