I packed my food for the day and got ready to go.
Ethan's first game went well. They won and scored 5 points for the game. They use a point system to make things more fair for teams. If they get the most goals in a period, they get 1 point. if they tie the period, including each getting no goals, they each get 0.5 points. Then if the win the game they get 2 points. So with 3 periods at 1 point each and a win for 2 points, they can get a total of 5 points.
After the game we headed for breakfast. I had my second meal of the day which was turkey and spinach.
After breakfast we headed back to the rink. Ethan's team won their second game with 5 points again. This gave them a total of 10 points so far for the tournament.
After the game, we headed home and I did my upper body workout. I decided to do upper body again as I figured it would be a bit "easier" for me as I was still feeling a little under the weather. After my workout I had my other superfood protein shake with Recover in it.
I did some of my training while we waited for the time to leave and head to Ethan's last game of the day. I had my fourth meal of the day which was turkey and broccoli before we headed out the door.
Ethan's team won their last game of the day with 5 more points. This left them with 15 total points and gave them a place in the finals.
We headed home and had dinner. For me this was lamb and broccoli. It was yummy. Joe sautéed it up with some spices for me.
I washed up Ethan's hockey clothes and laid out his gear to dry and we all headed to bed. We were all tired from the early morning. Ethan was still wired from his game, but eventually fell asleep.
With the two days off due to my sickness this week, the last 4 days of the week mean doubling up on my workouts. So far it is going ok with the help of some e-shots for an energy boost, Power to give my muscles some energy to produce, Recover to help them heal and repair after the workouts, and some Ionix to help my body manage the stress that I am putting it under. I am excited to see my new program from Coach Michelle which will start in the new year. I'll be posting my final measurements and pictures in the next few days. I'm excited to see the "end" results at this stage of my journey to the stage! I know that the next 4 months will be challenging, but I am up for the challenge and ready to rock the stage!
