My family was coming for Christmas dinner and so we all worked together to get the house tidied and cleaned. I gave them the option of not coming since I was not feeling well. Everyone decided that since we only got together once in a while that they would still come. I had my second meal of the day which was lamb and Brussels sprouts.
I got ready and everyone arrived. The adults played a fun game together where you had to try to open a wrapped gift with oven mitts on while the guy beside you tried to roll doubles. If they rolled doubles the oven mitts and gift went to the next person. It was a lot of fun. I had my third meal of the day which was tuna and pea pods.
The kids had fun playing and then they opened gifts. They had a nerf gun war and then we ate a lovely dinner. I had turkey, broccoli, sweet potatoes, and a gluten-free tea biscuit. For dessert I had a piece of dairy-free and gluten-free pumpkin pie. It was delicious. It was free meal day again.
After dinner we all tidied up and then Joe, Ethan, and I headed into town to attend a wake for one of Joe's relatives that passed away before Christmas. It was a sad even, but nice to see some of his family.
We headed home and went to bed.
