We went to hockey practice and I did the stairs for 30 minutes. Tuesdays is also core exercises day, but I left those for later in the day when I was home and could do them on an exercise mat instead of the hockey rink floor! It feels so good to do the stairs and my muscles let me know that they love the workout.
Tuesdays are cleanse day so I enjoy my cleanse drinks over the course of the day.
After hockey practice, we took Ethan for some dippy eggs and gluten-free English muffins.
We then headed to Ethan's school to drop him off. They are studying shelters right now at school and so Joe and I stayed to help build a teepee with the class. We laid out the wood structure part and the class will add the canvas at another time. Over the holidays, Ethan will be building a model teepee for his class project. He has been collecting sticks outside.
We then headed to pick Ethan up and then headed home. Ethan and Joe dropped me off to work on my training while they headed to guitar practice.
When they got home, they had dinner and then headed to an early bed as we were all tired from the early morning.
I reviewed my chapter for book club in The Power of Focus and then headed to bed.
Today's lesson was that when someone appears to be threatened by you, step back and let them take the lead. The challenge for me in this was to do it with grace instead of being offended. I'm not sure that I did it as well as I would have liked, but it's a notice and something I can definitely work on getting better at!
