I got Ethan up and took him to school. I then headed to my Mom's to work for the day only to realize when I got there that I had forgotten my laptop at home! On the way to Mom's I had my leadership team call. I headed home to work there since I didn't have my laptop. I had a pork chop and Brussels sprouts on my way home.
It was a very productive day of work. I had another team call with Wendy and Benita. I am so grateful for these ladies. They helped me think through a situation and come up with a solution that feels good to me. Sometimes we do things because we are attempting to please others. When we slow down, we often realize that what pleases others isn't really serving us! When we hold our truth with confidence and gentleness, things work out best for us in the end. This follows with the Courageous and Graceful Self-Expression and the I AM Enough guiding light statements that I have been working with for the last while. I had salmon and broccoli for my third meal of the day.
I did my upper body workout in the afternoon as I was tired from our fun and eventful weekend so chose to sleep in. I had my other superfood protein shake with Recover in it after my workout to fuel my muscles and assist them in repairing after I tore them up with weights.
I finished up my posts for the weekend as is my Monday custom now and then headed to town to pick Ethan up.
When Ethan and I got home, we snow-blowed the driveway and shovelled the parts we couldn't snow blow. Joe came home to help us which was really nice of him. I cooked us salmon, cauliflower, and rice for dinner. It was really great to have Joe home on a week night for dinner. Ethan and I are looking forward to being able to have these nightly dinners once Joe comes home in the summer time. It is getting close to happening! So exciting! After dinner Joe headed back to Ottawa and Ethan and I got ready for bed. Early hockey practice on Tuesday morning again.
Ethan and I are both excited for hockey practice again. He is because he missed hockey and I am because I missed doing the stairs and because I enjoy watching his practice.
We read some of his book and then headed for an early bed!
