After my run, I had my superfood protein shake.
I worked on packing my food for the day and getting ready to go.
We headed to Ethan's hockey game. On our way in to town I had my second meal of the day which was salmon and Brussels sprouts. They won their game and he was happy that both sets of grandparents attended the game. He played well and gave his perfect effort! He really loves playing defense and is quite good at it too!
After hockey we headed to his choir practice at St George's Cathedral. Joe and I headed to grab a tea so that we didn't spoil the surprise by hearing the singing before the concert!
Once we got back in the car I had my third meal of the day which was tuna and cauliflower.
We then headed to pick up Luca, Ethan's friend. They have known each other since daycare. They go to different schools, but we have worked to ensure they keep in touch over the years. They really love each other and get along amazingly! They refer to each other as the brother they never had. With Ethan being an only child, it is nice for him to have this "brother" and with Luca having two sisters, it is also nice for him to have a "brother" as well.
The boys decided that they wanted to head back to our place to play before we went to the theatre that night.
In the afternoon, Joe and I read while the boys played. I had my other superfood protein shake.
Around dinner time, Ethan asked if we could go into town and get a burger for a treat for dinner. I had a salad.
We then headed to see the Nutcracker at the Grand Theatre. Here is a picture of the sign that was in the theatre.
After the show, we headed home and all went to bed. The boys giggled a bit but fell asleep quite quickly since it was fairly late.
