After my workout I had my superfood protein shake.
I did some work while I waited for Ethan to get up. I was disappointed that I wasn't able to volunteer, but was grateful to be able to stay home with Ethan. This is one of the benefits of working from home.
I had my second meal of the day which was salmon and broccoli.
I was able to get Ethan in to the Dr as I wanted to rule out strep throat since it is going around his school. By the time we got the the Dr, his fever was gone and he was feeling much better although his throat was still a bit sore. It was not strep throat which was great. She felt it was just a virus.
I am grateful that I don't believe in giving pain medication unless absolutely necessary for pain. Since I allowed the fever to run it's course, he recovered quickly. Fevers serve the purpose of killing the invading bug as well as hoarding zinc so that they invading bug can't get it.
We use homeopathy for health issues as it supports the body in healing as opposed to blocking signals.
I had my third meal of the day which was a pork chop with cauliflower.
In the afternoon, I chose to use my free time to tidy the house up as we were having a house guest on Saturday night.
We had dinner which for me was goat's stew and broccoli and waited for Joe to get home.
We then headed to town to see Ovo, the Cirque de Soleil production. Here is a picture that I was able to take before it began.
We arrived home after our drive from the KRock Centre and all hit the hay as we had another busy day on Saturday.
