I enjoyed one of my superfood protein shakes after my run. I saved the Recover to take with my superfood protein shake after my weights workout in the evening as that is when I muscles really need the extra help - after they have been worked hard with the weights.
I got up and got things ready, got Ethan up and then we headed to school. I dropped him off at school and then headed to my Mom's to work for the day. When I got to Mom's I had my second meal of the day which was chicken and peas. Today was a medium day so the first meal had no carbohydrates.
I had a very productive day doing some training for my business. For my third meal, I enjoyed chicken, Brussels sprouts, and squash. On a medium day there is carbohydate with two of the three meals.
I do love to learn new things, especially when they will benefit the people that choose to walk with me!
When it was time to pack up to go and get Ethan from school, I ate my fourth meal which was chicken, cauliflower, and pasta and lentils.
I picked Ethan up from school and then headed home. When we got home, I made him dinner and then headed down to do my weight workout. Thursday is lower body which I am finding is my favourite workout now that I know how to do squats and lunges properly. It's no fun to workout if it is causing you pain and it can lead to injury as well!
After my workout I had my last meal of the day which was my superfood protein shake with Recover in it.
Ethan and I played some board games together - Trouble and Backgammon. He beat me at all three games that we played - 2 games of Trouble and 1 of Backgammon.
Ethan got ready for bed and then we read the rest of the Boxcar Children book that we were reading and some in his Wings of Fire book that he is reading.
After he went to sleep, I chose to do some of my personal growth reading before my team call. It was interesting that the section that I read was all about anger!
After my team call, I headed to bed myself.
