I dropped Ethan at school, had my second meal of the day which was pike and boiled cabbage. I then headed onto the 401 and headed to Toronto to see Coach Zara for 2 hours of posing practice. I haven't been talking much about posing practice for a while, but it is a big part of the preparation for my competition. There are mandatory poses that I have to do with the other ladies that I compete with and then I have to do a solo T-walk.
I had a nice drive to Toronto. The roads were in good condition and the traffic was light. I listened to personal growth training on the way. When I arrived, I had my third meal of the day which was pork and broccoli and then headed in.
Coach Zara was pleased with the progress that I have made so far and decided to change up my T-walk routine to highlight some of the gains that I have made. It was a tough 2 hours, but I am excited with the new routine. I was grateful to have my Power to give my muscles the energy they needed to complete the 2 hours! It was interesting to see my muscles begin to pop out as the time progressed. She said that was normal as I practice, they will become more used to the posing and will become more defined by it. Neat :)
After posing practice, I had my fourth meal of the day which was my other superfood protein shake to give my muscles the fuel they needed to recoup from the tough 2 hours they had just worked through and then I headed home.
I had a great drive home with clear roads and light traffic. Again, I listened to personal growth on the way home.
I headed to my Mom's to pick Ethan up. I ate my last meal of the day with them. I had pike and cabbage. After dinner, Ethan and I headed home and got ready for bed. We read some in The Land of Stories and then headed to sleep.
Today's lesson is that my body can do amazing things when it is taught the right way to do them.
