I got Ethan up and we headed to school. After I dropped him off at school, I had my second meal of the day which was pike and cabbage.
I then had my book club call which was the final chapter in The Power of Focus. This was a great chapter because it focused on success stories of people who have implemented all of the skills we have been learning through our books over the last year. This year we are going to focus on biographies and autobiographies. It will be really neat to see the qualities and skills we have been learning about come to life in other people's lives!
After book club, I headed to my dr appt. I was grateful to learn that the biopsy was clear. The dr wanted to know how I wanted to proceed with respect to the small fibroid that I have. I informed her that with the dietary changes that I have made that my symptoms have disappeared and that I was comfortable doing what I was doing. She agreed that no intervention was the best solution if we could get away with it, gave me her card and told me to call if things changed.
I am grateful to have my nutritional knowledge to use, but I am also grateful that I am able to go with my gut and follow my instincts. Do you follow your instincts? If so, I'd love to hear why you do and if not, I would also love to hear why you do not.
After my apt I drove to the mall to meet my friend Paul for our ritual lunch. When I got to the mall I was early so I ate my pork roast and Brussels sprouts in the car and then headed in.
Paul and I had a nice visit and chat as we usually do.
After lunch, I headed to pick Ethan up from school and ate my fourth meal of chicken and peas in the car when I got there as it wasn't quite time to go in and get him. I read a bit in The Year of Yes while I waited.
I got Ethan and we headed home. I did my upper body workout and had my other superfood protein shake with Recover in it.
After dinner, Ethan and I read several chapters in The Land of Stories and then I read some more in The Year of Yes before heading off to sleep.
