After my workout, I had my superfood protein shake and got Ethan's stuff ready for the day. I'm not back into the routine of being back to school so I didn't have lunches made the night before.
After I dropped Ethan at school, I headed back home, had my second meal of the day which was pork and boiled cabbage, and then had my team leadership call.
After my call, I did my second workout of the day. Mondays are upper body day. I increased the weight on some of my exercises today as they were getting too easy and Coach Michelle wanted me to be sure that I was going to fatigue so I could get maximum results this week.
After my workout I had my other superfood protein shake, this time with Recover in it to help my hard working muscles to recover.
I did a bit of work before my triad call with two team members. We talked about our goals for the upcoming quarter and our action plan to get there.
After my first triad call I did some more work and then had my second triad call with two other team members. We also discussed our first quarter goals and our action plan to get there.
After my last call, I had my fourth meal of the day which was turkey and Brussels sprouts.
I did a bit more work and then headed into town to pick Ethan up from school. We headed home and had dinner together. My dinner was fresh pike that we caught on Sunday, sautéed mushrooms, and cauliflower. We got quite a bit of fish from the 5 pike that we caught. Joe cooked it all up for me and froze it in 3 oz portions for my meals. This means I just need to unthaw one in the fridge overnight and warm it in the toaster oven for my meal the next day. Awesome!
I don't own a microwave. Since they change the molecular structure of food, I do not believe that they are good for us. I haven't had one in years and prefer not to use them. When I used to go to work, I would eat my food at room temperature instead of using the microwave or if I wanted hot soup or something like that, I had a portable stove element that I plugged in at my desk to warm the soup up. How do you feel about microwaves?
After dinner, Ethan and I played King of Tokyo, a new board game that he got from his aunt and uncle for Christmas. It is an easy yet very fun game to play. It is also a quick game for something to do in a short amount of time. He won!
We got ready for bed, read some of The Land of Stories book that we are on - book 3 - and then headed to bed. I read some in The Year of Yes, the personal growth book that I am currently reading, and then headed off to sleep myself. Back to hockey practice at 6 am Tuesday morning.
Today's lesson is that you can have two different conversations about the same topic with different people and learn completely new things from each conversation. Cool! I appreciate both of my triad groups!
