Before my coaching call I had my second meal of the day which was pork roast and broccoli. I had my coaching call and then went outside to snowshoe in our field for my cardio. I did seven laps of the field which was quite challenging. It was a good workout.
When I came back in I had my other superfood protein shake and then did some work on my blog posts. I had Joe take my end photos for my program that ends today. You can find my measurements and photo compares below. Overall, I am quite pleased with the progress that I have made in just 12 short weeks. This just shows that slow and steady wins the race! It also shows that about 30 minutes a day of working out is all it takes and that it is mostly nutrition that builds a body! I am excited to see what my new program looks like as well as what I am going to look like at the end of it as I walk on the stage. It is about 18 weeks until my competition now so there is still lots of time to make massive changes! Exciting!
I then did my lower body workout as well as my core exercises and had my Recover.
I got cleaned up and ready for our New Year's celebration. Joe, Ethan, and I all prepared the meal together which was Caesar salad and sautéed scallops to start, cilantro and lime shrimp with avocado dip, white wine mussels, and pumpkin pie for dessert. I enjoyed a nice glass of red wine with my meal and then we watched a movie before heading to bed. Here are some pictures!
Hope you also enjoyed your New Year's Eve celebration! Happy New Year! May it be the best year for you yet! I know that it will be for me and my family!
I am feeling very encouraged by my progress so far!
