After my workout I had my superfood protein shake with Recover in it. Then I took Luke for his walk.
I then had book club call where we talked about the Elon Musk book that we are reading together. This book is drawing out lots of conversations about how to support our children the best way possible and what information we need to teach them beyond what they are learning in school. After call I had my second meal of the day which was pork roast, cauliflower, and green beans.
I did some work. I had some more great health conversations with people. One of those conversations surrounded the cost of eating healthfully. Do you believe that it is expensive to eat nutritious food? For me, putting the best quality nutrients in my body is non-negotiable. Health is the foundation of everything. If we don't have our health, we have nothing. A lot of people spend their younger years chasing wealth at the expense of their health. They then spend that wealth trying to get back health to find that a lot of the damage has been done and that is it not easy to reverse. Some damage may be irreversible. One of the reasons that I chose to live where I live is because I didn't want to be house poor. I wanted to be able to buy the good quality food for my body. You see I have already experienced poor health. I am grateful that I had breast cancer several years ago because it allowed me to re-evaluate how I was living. I guess having your life flash before your eyes does that to you! In my opinion, you can't put a price on your health! I do not understand the concept of buying poor quality groceries so that I can live in a lavish house and have other things. What do you think?

Ethan and I watched a movie together since he was still not feeling well and was home from school again. During the movie I had my other superfood protein shake.
After the movie, Ethan took Luke for his walk and I made us dinner. I had meatballs, salad, cauliflower, and green beans.
We then got ready to go and chat with some more people about the importance of maintaining good health. I had my second special appointment presentation at my chiropractor's office. I had tweaked my presentation and was pleased with how well it went this week and how it was received by the new patients at the office.
After the presentation, Ethan and I both got adjusted. Ethan's neck was out of alignment from that trampoline accident. he felt much better after his adjustment. He has been seeing Dr Dodie since he was 6 months old. He goes once a month to maintain good health and then lets me know when he needs to go for an extra appointment. I had tried to talk him into going on Monday when he was feeling really sick, but he wasn't up to it. Dr Dodie explained to him how an adjustment will increase his immune system up to 200% so he'll be sure to go next time! It is especially important to get adjusted when you are feeling ill.
We then headed home, read some in The Land of Stories and then Ethan headed to bed. I curled up with my Elon Musk book and read for a while and then headed off to sleep myself.
Today's lesson was that there is no price for my health and seeing the chiropractor allows you to recover more quickly from illness!
