Ethan was not feeling well and had a high fever and sore throat so we hung at home for the day. It was too bad as Joe had the day off and Ethan had a PA day from school.
I walked Luke after his breakfast and then I had my triad calls. We had great conversations about how we can best support each other to move through excuses that we make for ourselves. It's interesting that we tend to accept excuses from people when we would really serve them better to help them move through the excuses. We talked about how it was important to help people see how they can be capable in the commitments that they make. Between my triad calls I had my second meal which was chicken thighs and broccoli and my third meal which was chicken thighs and cauliflower.
In the afternoon, I worked on my blog posts and did my workout. I was so excited to be back working out. I really missed doing my weights! Cardio today was 20 minutes and core exercises.
After my workout I had my other superfood protein shake with Recover in it.
For dinner I had pork roast, green beans, and a bit of salad. I walked Luke after his dinner and then we watched a movie and then headed to bed. Ethan's fever was still quite high so I wanted him to have a good sleep.
Today's lesson was that we can better help people by assisting them to move through their excuses as opposed to just accepting them.
