One sure way to get out of a funk is to think about things that you have in your life that you can be grateful for. As a good friend of mine, Melvin, always says, "You can't be hateful and grateful at the same time!"
I then prepared my food for the day. Low days consist of two superfood protein shakes and three meals of meat and veggies. The two superfood protein shakes have either flax, chia, or hemp seeds in them.
Ethan and I headed to town so he could go to a play date at his friend, Hening's house. He had a good time there playing soccer. After that play date we headed to pick up his friend, Luca, to come for a sleepover at our place.
I did my lower body workout when we got home and then made dinner for us all.
After dinner, I chose to do some adult colouring in my day planner while the boys played and had fun together. I chose this to relax and as a kind of meditation. Here's a picture of how it looks so far.
