After meditation I got up and did my morning cardio workout and then had my first superfood protein shake of the day.
I then got things ready for the day and took Ethan to school. After I dropped him off at school, I headed back home to work for the day. Work today consisted of more of what I have been up to lately - looking and applying for jobs, talking to people about their health, and studying the new programming language I am learning.
It was a cleanse day so I consumed my nutrient dense cleanse drink program for the day. I absolutely love my cleanse days as they leave me full of energy and feeling light and lean the day after. They flood my body with the nutrients it needs to support its natural cleansing and detoxing functions. It is my belief that everyone needs to cleanse on a regular basis due to the pollution in our air, water, and food. There's just too much nowadays for our body to handle on its own.
In the afternoon I had a coaching call with my authenticity/life coach, Darcy. Today we looked at changing perspectives on situations and relationships that aren't serving us. It was a great session and I am so excited to have a new tool to use for looking at things differently. I learned this skill because I asked Darcy to help me work through why I was not getting my Posing practice in like I needed to. Besides my nutrition and sleep, my posing practice is the next most important aspect of my competition process. I was looking at it as another period of exercise that I had to complete each day, but at the end of each day I was finding that I didn't manage to fit it into my busy schedule again. Darcy helped me to see that I didn't need to know WHY I wasn't able to fit it in, that I just needed to figure out HOW to fit it in. He helped me to see that it wasn't really a separate piece of exercise that I had to do, that it was just part of the exercise that I had to do each day. So now I tack it onto my second daily exercise session and have been completing it with ease! I'm so happy about this new perspective! We are also looking at how we can use this new perspective exercise to change difficult relationships. If you're feeling stuck in your life, I would highly recommend working with Darcy Shenfield! He's a master at tools for taking your life to whole new levels! I'm grateful to have access to his skills, knowledge, and tools every day!
After my coaching call, I headed in to get Ethan from school. We went to his guitar practice and then headed home. I did my upper body workout and then we headed to bed. WE read some in The Land of Stories and then I read some of Thrive.
I loved sleeping in today as hockey practice and season is over!
