I got things ready for the day and then dropped Ethan off at school.
I headed to meet with an old supervisor of mine from when I worked at Queen's, Dave. He proposed a potential solution to me for my current job situation. I am excited to begin taking him up on this offer and will begin learning a new developing language tomorrow. It will allow me to work remotely at home most of the time with the odd client site visit. That works!
My good friend Maggie posted the following message to me and I thought I would share it with you. It is important for me to keep in mind as I embark on this new path that will ultimately lead to my desired goal. I will keep the goal, but the path is changing and that's ok!
It was cleanse day for half of the day. I usually do my cleanses days on Tuesday but waited until Thursday this week as I didn't get my order until Wednesday.
I headed home to do my lower body workout and have my superfood protein shake with Recover in it. Coach Michelle has been having me do half cleanse days lately as she feels my body needs the extra food while I am training so hard.
I then packed up Ethan's hockey gear and headed to pick him up from school. We went and had dinner. I had dry back ribs and steamed veggies.
We then headed to get ingredients for protein balls that we are making for the fitness event on Saturday that my team is hosting. It's going to be fun! I hope you can join us! It's for the whole family and all levels of fitness.
After hockey, we headed home. Joe came to the game so he stopped in a tucked Ethan in for the night and then headed back to Ottawa as he has to work on Friday. I feel so much gratitude for him. He is a wonderful Dad! I know there are a lot of parents who would not make these kind of sacrifices for their children and I so appreciate that is willing to do that. It means the world to Ethan! Ethan headed right to bed as it was late by the time we got home.
I then had team call in which we talked more about getting back to the basics. It was a great call and I am hopeful about the forward direction that we are moving in as a team! After the call, I headed to bed.
