Leadership call was all about getting back to the basics. It was a difficult conversation, but one that I think will moe our team forward. Everyone learned so much from the convention and I am excited for us to implement what we learned.
When Ethan got up we got ready to go and packed up our stuff. We headed to pick up his new pet. We adopted her and she is a rescue. Here are some pictures of her. The first one is the picture of her when she was at the rescue centre. I have included it so you can see a nice close up of her. The second one is her with Ethan and the last one is her in her new home which is housed in Ethan's play room. She's quite happy there! Her name is Peach.
After getting Peach, we headed home and I jumped on my triad calls. We discussed our plan going forward to get back to the basics.
In the afternoon, Ethan and I watched a movie while I did my cardio and lower body workout. I had my other superfood protein shake with Recover it in when I was done working out.
Ethan held Peach again in the afternoon for a few minutes and then we unpacked and got the house tidied up.
We had dinner and then held Peach for a few minutes again. Then we talked to Joe and got ready for bed. We ready a chapter in The Land of Stories. It was an early night since we had been up late on the weekend so much! I read some in my new book that I am reading called Thrive by Arianna Huffington. I had started it back when I got it, but got away from reading it. It fits in with the theme of biographies and autobiographies. This one is an autobiography. It isn't for my book club, just one I am reading on my own.
It was a medium day today so my three meals besides my two superfood protein shakes included one meal of meat and veggies, and two meals of meat, veggies, and a complex carbohydrate.
Today's lesson was that I am surrounded by courageous and graceful leaders which are a great example of what I am living into as well! It is often the most difficult conversations that are the most rewarding! I greatly appreciated the difficult leadership call this morning and I am hopeful for the direction our team is headed in! I am also grateful to be surrounded by such awesome examples to live up to!
