After our workout, we headed back up to our room and had our superfood protein shake with Recover in it and got things packed for the day. This afternoon was leadership training for me and a day of whatever he wanted for Joe. When we were in the cardio/weight room, he eyed the pool and was excited to go and do laps for the afternoon. He also wandered around to see what was near our condo. I loved the leadership training. It was raw and real and I got tons of notes to use for my path forward. My biggest take away was to go back to the basics. What I really discovered is that I don't really know what exactly those basics are. It's cool that a lot of my team members also got the same message.
After the training, Joe met me at the convention centre and we walked to the grocery store to get some stuff for dinner. We chose to do that instead of go out to a restaurant. It was a medium day for me so besides my two superfood protein shakes, I had two meals at the convention. One of them was just meat and veggies and the other was meat, veggies, and steel cut oats. For dinner I had seafood, veggies, and then some popcorn with the movie that we watched after dinner.
We talked to Ethan during a pause of the movie and discovered that they lost their hockey game. He was fine with the results as he felt that he had given his perfect effort.
After the movie we headed to bed for an early start to the next day.
