This week the eating program changed to alternating two different types of ketosis days. One was high fat and the other was low fat. Today was a high fat day so besides my two superfood protein shakes with nut butter in them, I had three meals. Two of the meals were high fat meat, so for me that is lamb, beef, salmon, or dark chicken or turkey meat, and then one meal is a low fat meat, so for me that means a white fish of some type or white chicken or turkey meat. Since I can only eat chicken every few days, I have been eating mostly some type of white fish. With the high fat meals I also get 1/2 green veggies and with the low fat meal I get nuts and 1/2 cup of green veggies. The nuts and nut butter feel like a decadent treat! Tomorrow is the low fat day so I'll describe it then.
After doing some house chores, I packed my food up and got ready to head to town to get Ethan. When we picked him up he was so tired from being up all night at the sleepover that we decided to take him for a bit of a drive so he could have a nap!
After taking the scenic route, we arrived home. I did my other cardio workout for the day along with my core workout. This was followed by a superfood protein shake with nut butter. I generally have my shakes after my workouts as they contain the nutrients in all the right ratios that my muscles and body need.
After dinner, Joe, Ethan, and I watched a movie and then headed to bed. I read Ethan a chapter in The Land of Stories and then headed to read some in Unshakeable before going to sleep myself.
