After my meditation I got up and did my cardio workout. This was followed by a superfood food protein shake with nut butter in it.
I then packed my food and got ready for the day. I took Ethan to school.
I missed book club call this morning which was very disappointing! I really enjoy participating in the conversations around the books that we are reading together as a group. It is interesting to see what others take from reading the exact same thing as what I am reading. It is also interesting to hear other peoples' opinions and viewpoints on things. I often come away with new ideas to try for issues that I am facing. So cool! This was the first week that we talkeda bout the new book we are reading, Unshakeable by Tony Robbins. It turns out this is an investment book. I am loving the information that I am learning and I have confidence that it will make me a better investor.
The reason that I missed book club was because there was a screw in my tire and I needed to get it fixed. I called around until I found somewhere that would take my car immediately.
Disappointingly I also missed a lunch date with a friend, Mary-Jo, due to that darn tire! I was so looking forward to catching up with her! We'll reschedule!
While I was getting the tire fixed, I took advantage of the extra time and went and got some groceries. I have to tell you I shouldn't have gotten such heavy stuff as I had to carry all those bags back to the shop and that was a killer after Tuesday having been arm day!! I was very grateful to arrive at the shop and set the bags down! I paid for my tire repair and then jokingly tried to get the guy at the shop to carry my groceries down to my car for me! I was again very grateful to set them in my trunk!
I then headed to my Mom's to work for the rest of the day until it was time to pick Ethan up from school. We then headed home and I did my core exercises as well as my other cardio workout for the day. I am loving that my posing practice is just considered part of my workouts now and I am getting it in each night! I am noticing that it is getting a lot easier to do and my muscle stamina is getting better.
After my workout we had dinner and then got ready for bed. I read a chapter in The Land of Stories and then Ethan went to sleep. I checked in with my friend, Sarah, who is doing the 120-Day Challenge with me, answered the questions for my Healthy Mind and Body program, and then read some in Unshakeable. I then headed off to sleep.
It is scary what I am learning in this Unshakeable book, but I am so grateful to have the knowledge so that I can begin to be a better investor and have more for my retirement years! If you haven't read this book, I highly recommend it. It is never too late to get started investing right!
