After my meditation, I got up and did fasted cardio intervals. This means that I had to do the workout on an empty stomach as soon as I get up. Through most of my journey, this is how my morning workouts were done, but some days if time was a factor, I would push the workout to later in the morning or day. That is not an option this week! This is it! This is where the rubber meets the road as they say! I can't begin to explain how very excited I am!
After my cardio intervals, I prepared my breakfast. This week the protein shakes are gone. Today was 5 meals of low fat meat with 1 cup of green veggies - specifically either broccoli, spinach, green beans, or asparagus.
This week also began my real water manipulation. Today I consumed 6.5 L of water. With having slept in, this was a challenge, but I did it!
Later in the afternoon, I did my last lower body workout before my competition!
I spent the day catching up on work that had fallen behind the previous week as well as getting some maintenance stuff done around the house such as laundry and tidying up. I also did some food prep for a couple of days worth of meals. I don't like to have too much cooked ahead because bacteria grows.
After dinner, Ethan, Joe, and I watched a movie and then headed to bed.
