Breakfast as well as the other 4 meals today consisted of low fat meat and green veggies - broccoli, spinach, asparagus, or green beans.
Water consumption today was 7.5 L. I was able to get this in no problem as well. I truly love water and knowing that it is so good for my body makes it easy for me to drink it. Even when I am not competing, it is my drink of choice. I also enjoy black coffee, clear herbal and green teas, as well as the very odd Zevia for a treat. Zevia is pop that is sweetened with stevia. Oh and let's not forget the odd glass of wine! I definitely enjoy that too!
After dropping Ethan off at school, I found where my Mom was parked and then we headed off to the spa! It was manicure and pedicure day! Yay! That is another perk to training for this fitness competition - they insist on you being all done up like a Barbie, so I might as well go all out, right??? I love going to the spa. I'm not one for painting my finger nails much anymore. Sometimes I paint my toe nails, but not very often either. Usually when I get a manicure and pedicure I leave my nails nude. I just enjoy the services. Well, that was not the case today. Today I had paint put on and even some nail art done! Here are a couple of pictures!
After the spa, Mom and I headed back to town so I could get Ethan from school. We went to his guitar practice and then I came home and did my weight workout. It was chest and biceps today. Here's how to do a weight workout in style!
After Ethan was asleep, I did my posing practice and then got on my training call for the Fit, Fab, and Fulfilled program that I taking. It was the second call and we discussed the homework that we had done from the previous session. This homework consisted of writing out goals for our life in specific areas such as relationships, business, health, etc. Then we took those and broke them down into twelve month goals that would help us work towards our longer term goals. It was a great discussion. It was interesting to hear some of the challenges that others had doing the exercise. It went fairly smoothly for me as I have done this exercise before. I remembered back to the first time that I did it and how I struggled with it! This week we have to take the twelve months goals and break them down into quarterly, monthly, weekly, and finally daily goals. We are also to develop a daily ritual around an area of our goals such as health or business. It's going to be fun doing this and then getting back together in a couple of weeks to chat about it. This is my first time doing this activity so we'll see if it goes smoothly for me!
